“Jesus answered, “The foremost is, ‘Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”” Mark 12:29-31 NASB2020
>> To some Christians, loving the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind won't be a problem. But to love Him without all their strength is always a challenge. Why? Because most of their strength have probably been already used for other things, so when it comes to spending time with Jesus, no energy/strength is left. This happens day after day, so they spend Sunday with great effort. I totally understand and empathize with this. Accepting the harsh reality is a good start. Doing something about it is another step that a Christ's follower will need to adjust to carry out the aspect of "loving the Lord with all our strength" without neglecting the other aspects of loving Him. I thank God and commend those who have been persistently reading/sharing the Bible Reading Plan (BRP), Sunday Sermon Reflection, joining small groups, and serving the Lord in respective work places and in our church. May we continue to persevere as the Holy Spirit continue to empower us. Amen
